Import Bookmarks from del.icio.us

Step 1: Export Your Bookmarks From Del.icio.us

To import your del.icio.us bookmarks, you will need to save a copy of your bookmarks from del.icio.us onto your hard drive.

• Safari and Internet Explorer Users:
  1. Right-click the special del.icio.us url, https://api.del.icio.us/v1/posts/all and then choose Save Linked File to the Desktop.
  2. When prompted, enter your del.icio.us username and password.
• FireFox Users:
  1. Go to the special del.icio.us url, https://api.del.icio.us/v1/posts/all.
  2. When prompted, enter your del.icio.us username and password.
  3. When the page has finished loading, save it to a file.

Step 2: Select File and Options

Click 'Choose File' and select the bookmarks file you just made.

Select the default privacy setting for your imported bookmarks

Step 3: Import!

Click 'Import' when you're ready to go. You can discard the bookmarks file you made in step one, or keep it on your computer for an extra backup.
